Established in 2010, Sri Sanjeev Polytechnic is a premier technical institution managed by the Sri Utaganoor Basavalinga Tata Education Trust®, Lingasugur. The institution is renowned for its commitment to providing quality technical education to students, especially from rural backgrounds, in an eco-friendly and well-maintained campus.

Founder’s Legacy

Sri Puradappa Kandgal

Sri Puradappa Kandgal, the visionary behind Sri Sanjeev Polytechnic, served as an advocate in civil and criminal law for over 35 years. His leadership roles include:

President, Bar Association, Lingasugur (1989–1993)
Member, Land Tribunal, Lingasugur (1999–2004), nominated by Govt. of Karnataka
General Secretary, Raichur District Janata Party (1983–1987)
Secretary & Executive Committee Member, Taluk and District Levels (1987–2008)

He is the Founder of Karnataka Vidya Sangh, Bengaluru (1972–1973) and Sri Utaganoor Basavalinga Tata Education Trust, Lingasugur (1998–1999), committed to promoting education and social welfare in rural Karnataka. His lifelong service to politics, law, and social development continues to inspire the values upheld by the institute.
